About This Plant
Arborvitae Emerald Green (Thuja occidentalis ‘Smaragd’) is a dense, upright evergreen conifer valued for its compact, hedge-ready form and year-round rich green foliage. It is commonly used for privacy screens, borders, and foundation plantings, and tolerates pruning well. Cuttings are unrooted and intended for propagation.
What You Will Receive
You will receive 10 fresh, unrooted cuttings taken from mature Thuja ‘Emerald Green’ shrubs. These are prepared for propagation and should be rooted with rooting hormone in well-draining soil, then maintained with consistent moisture.
Growing or Planting Information
Propagate cuttings using rooting hormone in well-draining soil with consistent moisture. For best results, provide full sun to partial shade and monitor moisture as the cuttings establish.
