About This Plant
Alocasia Metalhead is a tropical rhizomatous hybrid (Alocasia portora × Alocasia lauterbachiana) prized for bold foliage and prominent veining. The listing features a pair of starter plants grown in 2-inch nursery pots, noted for their attractive tropical appearance. Please note: plants are shipped bare root with the original soil pod for protection during transit.
What You Will Receive
2 live Alocasia 'Metalhead' starter plants with fully established root systems. Plants are not fully rooted into the nursery pots and will ship bare root with the original soil pod wrapped for protection. Leaf loss during shipping is possible and normal. All plants are young starter plants, not mature specimens.
Growing or Planting Information
Alocasias prefer bright indirect light and well-draining soil. Keep soil lightly moist but not waterlogged. Roots are rhizomatous and can produce new growth after shipping.
Live Plant Notice
Live plants naturally vary in size, shape, foliage, and appearance. Depending on the season and shipping conditions, plants may arrive dormant, leafless, pruned, bare root, or show minor shipping stress such as wilting or leaf loss.
Listing photos may show a mature plant for reference. The plant you receive may be younger or smaller depending on the size and condition stated in this listing.
