Christmas Fern Bare Root Plant Polystichum Acrostichoides - Evergreen Fern for Shade

About This Plant

The Christmas Fern (Polystichum acrostichoides) is an evergreen fern with fountain-like, vibrant green fronds. It grows in dense clumps from rhizomes, reaching 2 to 3 feet tall, and thrives in part to full shade with organically rich, well-drained soils. It provides year-round foliage, winter cover for birds, and helps prevent soil erosion. Fronds may produce curled, silvery fiddleheads in spring and some fronds show black spore undersides.
