About This Plant
Geum triflorum, commonly known as Prairie Smoke, is a clumping perennial that grows 12-18 inches tall. This cultivar, Cherry Drop, features pink to red blooms and fluffy seed heads that sway in the breeze. It attracts butterflies and bees, and is deer-resistant, making it a low-maintenance, long-lasting addition to borders, containers, or wildflower gardens. Best grown in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, sandy or loamy soil. Suitable for Hardiness Zones 3-8.
