Growing Information
White Prairie Clover is adapted to dry prairies and grasslands, preferring full sun and well-drained soil. Mature plants typically reach 1–3 feet in height and bloom in early to mid-summer with upright white flower spikes. Native to central North America, it is hardy in USDA zones 3–8. Seeds benefit from scarification and cold stratification for best germination and are best fall-sown outdoors or pretreated before spring planting. Germination may be slow, but established plants are long lived and drought resilient.
